【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequirementsandtestmethodsforevaluationofthepermanenceanddurabilityofwriting,printingandcopyingonpaperstoredinlibraries,archivesandotherprotectedenvironmentsforlongperiodsoftime.Itisapplicableto—imagesonpaperwiththeexceptionofdocumentswithinthescopeofISO/TC42,Photography;—multicolouredimages.Theinformationcontentsofmulticolouredimagesshouldberetainedbutnotnecessarilythefullartisticqualityofthecolouredimage.DocumentswheretheinformationcontentsareinfluencedbysmallcolourchangesarenotcoveredbythisInternationalStandard.Itdoesnotapplyto—documentsstoredunderharmfulconditions,suchashighhumiditythatmaypromotemicrobiologicalattack,excessiveheat,radiation(e.g.light),highlevelsofpollutants,ortheinfluenceofwater.Sincedocumentsmaybekeptinnon-protectedenvironmentsbeforebeingtransferredtoprotectedenvironments,resistancetowaterandlightis,however,ofimportance;—legaldocumentation,e.g.bankingdocuments,wheretheauthenticityisofprimaryinterest.
