【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61238appliestocompressionandmechanicalconnectorsforpowercablesforratedvoltagesupto36kV(Um=42kV),e.g.buriedcablesorcablesinstalledinbuildings,havinga)conductorscomplyingwithIEC60228andIEC60228Awithcross-sectionalareas10mmandgreaterforcopperand16mmandgreaterforaluminium,b)amaximumcontinuousconductortemperaturenotexceeding90℃.Thisstandardisnotapplicabletoconnectorsforoverheadconductors,whicharedesignedforspecialmechanicalrequirements,ortoseparableconnectorswithaslidingcontactormulti-coreconnectors(i.e.ringconnectors).Althoughitisnotpossibletodefinepreciselytheserviceconditionsforallapplications,twobroadclassesofconnectorshavebeenidentified.ClassATheseareconnectorsintendedforelectricitydistributionorindustrialnetworksinwhichtheycanbesubjectedtoshort-circuitsofrelativelyhighintensityandduration.Asaconsequence,ClassAconnectorsaresuitableforthemajorityofapplications.ClassBTheseareconnectorsfornetworksinwhichoverloadsorshort-circuitsarerapidlyclearedbytheinstalledprotectivedevices,e.g.fast-actingfuses.Dependingontheapplication,theconnectorsaresubjectedtothefollowingtests:ClassA:heatcycleandshort-circuittests;ClassB:heatcycletestsonly.Theobjectofthisstandardistodefinethetypetestmethodsandrequirements,whichapplytocompressionandmechanicalconnectorsforpowercableswithcopperoraluminiumconductors.Formerly,approvalforsuchproductshasbeenachievedonthebasisofnationalstandardsandspecificationsand/orthedemonstrationofsatisfactoryserviceperformance.ThepublicationofthisIECstandarddoesnotinvalidateexistingapprovals.However,productsapprovedaccordingtotheseearlierstandardsorspecificationscannotclaimapprovaltothisIECstandardunlessspecificallytestedtoit.Aftertheyhavebeenmade,thesetestsneednotberepeatedunlesschangesaremadeintheconnectormaterial,designormanufacturingprocesswhichmightaffecttheperformancecharacteristics.
