【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversfire-tubetestproceduresforfiretestsforcombustiblepropertiesofwoodtreatedtoreduceflammability.Thistestmethodrelatestopropertiesoftreatedwood,assuch,ratherthantotheperformanceofafabricationusedasanelementofconstruction.Performanceunderthistestmethodshallbeasprescribedinrequirementsapplicabletomaterialsintendedforspecificuses.Thistestmethodisafire-test-responsestandard.TheSIvaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandardshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduse.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
