【摘要】:Thispracticeisforusebydesignersandspecifiers,regulatoryagencies,owners,andinspectionorganizationswhoareinvolvedintherehabilitationofpipesthroughtheuseofaresin-impregnatedtubeinstalledwithinadamagedexistingpipe.Asforanypractice,modificationsmayberequiredforspecificjobconditions.1.1Thispracticecoversrequirementsandtestmethodsforthesectionalcured-in-placelining(SCIPL)repairofapipeline(4in,through60in.)bytheinstallationofacontinuousresin-impregnated-textiletubeintoanexistingpipebymeansofairorwaterinversionandinflation.Thetubeispressedagainstthehostpipebyairorwaterpressureandheldinplaceuntilthethermosetresinshavecured.Whencured,thesectionallinershallextendoverapredeterminedlengthofthehostpipeasacontinuous,onepiece,tightfitting,corrosionresistantandverifiablenon-leakingcured-in-placepipe.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOStandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Particularattentionisdrawntothosesafetyregulationsandrequirementsinvolvingenteringintoandworkinginconfinedspaces.
